2. Data We Collect

When you complete an assessment, we collect:

• Your name, email address, and mobile number (WhatsApp)
• Business information: company name, industry, business category, employee count, and annual revenue range
• Geographic data: city, state, and country
• Your responses to the assessment questionnaire
• Computed scores and maturity level derived from your answers

We also collect standard technical data such as your IP address (for rate limiting) and session tokens (for authentication).

3. How We Use Your Data

• To generate your personalised Digital Maturity Assessment report
• To deliver your report via email and WhatsApp
• To send up to two follow-up messages with improvement resources (you may opt out at any time)
• To notify our team of new assessment completions for potential consultation follow-up
• To generate anonymised aggregate analytics (industry trends, geographic distribution) for improving the platform
• To verify your phone number via OTP before accessing assessment results

4. Legal Basis for Processing (DPDP Act 2023)

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, which you provide by proceeding with the assessment and verifying your phone number. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at info@increatech.com.

In compliance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), we will not process your data for any purpose beyond what is described in this policy without your explicit consent.

5. WhatsApp & Email Communications

By verifying your phone number, you consent to receive your assessment report and up to two follow-up messages via WhatsApp. These messages are delivered using approved WhatsApp Business API templates.

To opt out of follow-up messages, reply STOP to any WhatsApp message from us, or email info@increatech.com with your mobile number and the request to unsubscribe.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is shared only with:

• Resend — for email delivery
• DialogPulse / WhatsApp Business API provider — for WhatsApp message delivery
• Our internal team at Increatech, who may contact you for consultation follow-up

All third-party providers are bound by data processing agreements and handle data only as instructed by us.

7. Data Retention

Your assessment data is retained for up to 3 years to allow you to track improvement over time through re-assessments. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing info@increatech.com.

8. Your Rights

Under the DPDP Act 2023 and applicable laws, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Request deletion (right to be forgotten)
• Withdraw consent for further processing

All data is stored in an encrypted PostgreSQL database hosted on a secure cloud server. Report access is protected by a unique password shared only with the assessment owner. We use HTTPS for all data transmission.

We use session cookies for authentication and a single report-access cookie to remember that you have unlocked a specific results page. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or WhatsApp to registered users. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
